How we work
Installed the way a mountain-climate floor should be.
We install hardwood acclimated to the house, over a flat subfloor, with the expansion gaps and transitions that keep a floor from cupping or gapping through our humidity swings.
Solid 3/4" hardwood is the long-term choice for rooms above a dry crawlspace; it can be refinished for generations. Engineered hardwood is the right call over slab, in basements, and anywhere humidity is hard to control. We’ll check your crawlspace and tell you which fits.

Before you call.
Can you install over a concrete slab?
Yes, with engineered hardwood glued or floated over a moisture barrier. We test the slab first.
Can I buy my own material?
Yes. Several of our reviews are from customers who bought their own hardwood. We’ll tell you what to look for and how much to order.
How long does it take?
Hardwood acclimates in the house for several days first. Most whole-floor installs run one to two weeks including acclimation and finishing.
