Tile that stays put.
Tile is unforgiving. If the substrate isn’t flat and the shower isn’t waterproofed correctly, the problem shows up a year later behind the wall. The reviews that mention “straight grout lines” and “no defects” are the ones we’re proudest of.
Every shower gets cement or foam board, a waterproofing membrane over every seam and the pan, and a flood test where the layout allows. It takes a day longer than the shortcut, and it’s what keeps water out of the wall.
