Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished several times before it ever needs replacing, whether it’s 1920s oak or 1990s builder-grade. Refinishing costs a fraction of new floors and keeps the boards that give the house its character.

Before you call.
Will there be dust everywhere?
Our sanders run with containment and we seal off the rooms we’re working in. There’s still some fine dust on a full sand; we wipe down when we leave.
Do I have to move out?
Usually not. We work room by room where the layout allows. You’ll stay off the floors while finish cures.
Can you refinish engineered hardwood?
Sometimes. It depends on the veneer thickness. We measure a board edge at the estimate and tell you.
